Obtaining a free quotation for your planned machine is simplicity itself. : Simply specify, using our interactive process’ Quotation Request service on a page further on, how you’d like your computer to be built / what you want it to do / what you want to use it for / even specify individual components if you wish. We’ll get a design together and give you a free no obligation price quotation and other relevant data based upon the information that you supply us. You can base your Kustom computer upon one of our standard designs featured below if you wish, or you may prefer something different. Once we’ve jointly agreed a specification and a price between us, Kustom Komputa will raise an invoice by email through PayPal. On receipt of payment, Kustom Komputa will build and thoroughly test your machine before despatching it to you.

You can rest assured that your Kustom computer is constructed from fine tried and tested components, and is designed and put together in such a way as to ensure optimum performance for its specification. All the software is pre-installed in the case of machines supplied with a pre-installed operating system; from drivers through programs to updates and patches, and is commonly the latest write from the original equipment manufacturers wherever possible. It will assist in optimising your computing experience to make your use of your machine a joy in addition to it being a task.

There are pictures and specifications of a few baseline designs on this website; but the available products aren't limited to just these: At Kustom Komputa we build quality products designed from the customer's individual specifications while being able to fulfil all of their computing needs. Having said that there's no waste involved by building in features and components that will never be used as could be the case with off-the-shelf cloned computers from places like PC World; neither are there hidden extra costs involved as there are with certain companies - The price quoted for the package includes all of the warranties, the included components which the customer has specified, the peripherals asked for or specified where available, the operating system if required, construction, testing, optimisation, and delivery.

What Happened to all the comments?

Answer = We moved them. Kustom Komputa’s website; where you are now, was in serious danger of getting cluttered: We initially included the comments section in order to make it interesting; but found that all the editorial junk was making pages huge and detracting from the site’s purpose; as a marketing avenue for our unique individualised products – Therefore we wanted rid of the comments, but not totally.

We decided to run a blog in parallel to kustomkomputa.co.uk on a separate site. This we did, and we’ll be adding to it as and when. We’ll be moving the Newsletters section over there starting from the next edition, and of course any future comment(s) will be posted there too.

The products shown below are a variety of the baseline models that we have designed already; however they are not by any means exhaustive: With Kustom Komputa it’s a case of what you want is what you get rather than what you see is what you get. Off-the-shelf clones are supplied by most of our competitors – Kustom Komputa bring you individuality in building for you a computer which fits your personal requirements rather than either something costing a fortune that does everything other than wash up afterwards or something that is cheap and substandard for purpose but labelled as a bargain and / or “cutting-edge technology”.

Buying a Kustom Computer

The concept is simple: You the customer tell us that you want a computer to do x, y, and z by filling in our Quotation Request Form. We reply to you by email with a suggested design outline / specification and an initial quotation. If you want to amend your requirements or specify further requirements, point out something we missed, negotiate on price, include specific components, ask for advice, anything, we correspond with you by email in order to narrow down the field and either reach agreement or compromise: Flexibility is part of the negotiation process to a certain extent. Having negotiated and also reached an agreement on all details which you feel are of importance to you we than seek the go-ahead for the build from you. If the answer is “yes” then we build you what you have asked for following your confirmation of the result of the final negotiation and remittance, by means of PayPal, of the amount quoted by us for the build. Having built it we email you to notify you that the item is to be despatched to the courier, who then deliver the goods to your designated address.

We built one of these machines (Pictured above.) in June 2007 as a test rig, and we ran our stringent benchmark tests on it. At Kustom Komputa during August 2007, we upgraded our various computers to a Kustomised Exel model; as above except with a 17-inch monitor, 2GB DDR2 dual-channel RAM, and Windows XP Professional. In doing so we ran further benchmark tests on these computers and found them to be scoring within the top 90% of a selection of over 100 computer designs ranging from the relatively-poor-specification AMD K6-2 on a PC Chips M577 motherboard running PC100 SDRAM, through to the Intel Pentium EE840 on an Intel D955XBK, Athlon 64 x 2 4800+ on an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and the P4EE on a Micro-Star International P4N Diamond, both running dual DDR 667MHz RAM as our test subjects also were.

The memory read score was in the top 10%; while the memory write and memory latency scores were in the top 5%.’ Even outperforming the P4EE on an MSI P4N-Diamond with an nForce4-SLI-Intel chipset and running dual DDR2 667MHz as regards memory latency. : Even we were astonished at how well our products performed in these tests; and we have no hesitation in recommending them to you.
