Kustomised for your personal requirements. Exel isn’t meant to be a
top-of-the-range do-it-all computer; rather it’s a top-of-the-range
run-of-the-mill/office-type computer that’s designed to last a long time
and keep apace with technology given the right upgrades.
Remember; this computer, and any
other, can be purchased without the operating
system/speakers/mouse/monitor/keyboard: It can be rather annoying when you
change your computer regularly, prefer a certain keyboard, mouse, monitor
etc; and end up with a cupboard full of new unused peripherals and several
operating system disks. – ‘Been there myself. Here you can save yourself
money and storage space by buying a new tower only without all the gubbins.

variation to these specifications will be posted on this page. Customers
who have ordered product prior to notification of variation can expect to
receive a product incorporating the specifications notified at the time at
which the order was placed wherever such is possible; however variation of
specification may occur in a finished product if such variation is
unavoidable. Any variation will usually be positive in nature and will most
likely increase the performance of the product in some way. The price of
the finished product, should a customer have placed an order before
variation was notified, yet the performance-enhancing variation was
included in the finished product, will remain the agreed price at the time
of ordering. : Therefore some customers may possibly receive more than they
paid for at no extra charge.
These computers have proved rather popular at this
point in time; which is why we’ve knocked the price down further and
upgraded the specifications with our revised special offer, so that
everyone who loves XP can enjoy happy computing at a decent price.

Although the provided graphics capability is quite
adequate for most applications under Windows XP, as a top-of-the range
graphics upgrade for gamers upgrading this computer to Vista we recommend
the XFX® GeForce 8800GTS 640MbDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card - Xtreme
Edition (530Mhz) - DirectX 10Compatible, (Pictured left.)
As a less-expensive alternative the Asus® NVIDIA 7300GS 512MBt/c PCI-E is available
fitted, and will increase the graphics capability to the minimum required
for running Vista.(This card may struggle with DirectX10 though, and the
above XFX upgrade or similar is advised if intending to run Vista’s Aero
Interface and be ready for the future.)

This
Kustom computer range is NOT recommended
for upgrading to Windows Vista; however such an upgrade should be possible if
desired, with the following conditions. : The Realtek High Definition Audio
Device will require installation of updated drivers following installation
of Vista. (Contact the device vendor; Realtek
Semiconductor, or Kustom Komputa, for more information.) The ATK0110 ACPI
Utility will require an updated driver but should be automatically updated
upon installation of Vista. If you have a VIAVT6421 RAID controller
fitted it may require replacement with a suitable alternative device before
installation of Vista. Alternatively a possible suitable driver for use with Vista may be downloaded HERE. This driver has only recently come to
the attention of Kustom Komputa. It has not been tested and therefore
Kustom Komputa do not guarantee that its use will be effective. The Windows
Vista Upgrade Advisor says that the VIA VT6421 will
not work under Vista; yet there is a Vista driver for it. Kustom Komputa make no
guarantees either way. (Some INXPense computers have Vista-compatible Silicon
Image SiI 3132 SoftRaid 5 Controllers fitted which do not
require replacement.)(A VT6421 RAID controller may have been fitted if you have more than 2 optical and/or
hard disk drives, or if you are running RAID 0 or 2+. If unsure contact
Kustom Komputa.)
The default model has a graphics
capability of 256MB.Customers wishing to purchase this computer with a
specialised graphics card should specify this on their quotation request
form.
